Receptive Imagination

Here Bollas exhibits the talent of understanding from the unconscious. In particularly the receptive unconscious. Bollas is not in any way an Asian Scholar, yet with his specially informed imagination gives us a version of the Asian mind like no one else.

Enlighting

Reading Bollas's view on Eastern civilization enhances all minds and widens our close western perception of life and things. I deeply recommend this book as I do with all of this author's book. Bollas is a prime psychoanalytical thinker with a broad range of interests.
